This course is intended to provide solutions architects with the foundational knowledge required to successfully plan and perform lift and shift migrations to the AWS Cloud. In this course you will learn about methodologies for discovering, planning, performing, and tracking migrations by using various AWS tools and services.

We are not only producing more data than ever, we are also producing real-time data that is streaming from a host of sources, like social media platforms and sensors embedded in attached to various devices. That data comes in several forms: structured, like that of a customer order record, or unstructured, like a piece of text, an image, or a video. In this training you will be introduced to the AWS services needed to build an end-to-end data solution to store, access, transform, analyze, and predict so you can put your data to work to make better, more informed decisions, respond faster to the unexpected, and uncover new opportunities.

In this training, you will learn the fundamental concepts of cloud computing and how a cloud strategy can help companies meet business objectives. It explores the advantages and possibilities of cloud computing. It also introduces addresses concepts such as security and compliance to help facilitate better discussions with line of business (LOB) professionals, information technology (IT) LoB, IT leaders, and executives.
